NERSC New User Training
NERSC periodically host New User Trainings. The goal of this training is to introduce new users to NERSC and to also provide current NERSC users with a review of using NERSC systems, such as how to build, execute, and submit jobs and available tools. All NERSC users are invited and encouraged to attend this review of best practices for using NERSC systems.

Training Learning Outcomes
- Users will understand the services, and scope of work at NERSC.
- Users will be able to recognize the different capabilities of available NERSC resources.
- Users will be able to login to NERSC resources using multiple methods.
- Users will be able to navigate the NERSC documentation to find relevant information.
- Users will be able to identify different storage options for their computing needs.
- Users will be able to locate and access software provided by NERSC as modules and will be able to compile basic C,C++,Fortran applications from source.
- Users will be able to run HPC applications on NERSC systems.
