Tiffany is a Cybersecurity Engineer in the NERSC Cybersecurity Group. She began working at NERSC in 2019 as a HPC Consultant and Software Integration Specialist in the User Engagement Group, before moving to the Security and Networking Group in 2020. Prior to joining NERSC, she attended the Technical University of Munich, where she was studying in the informatics master's program with a specialization in HPC architecture and scientific computing. Tiffany earned her B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2017 from Texas State University. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research at the Compilers Research Lab at Texas State, focusing on machine learning-based performance tuning of GPU kernels. She also held research internships at The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), NERSC, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), where she worked on projects related to HPC application and system performance modeling, monitoring, and tuning.
