Norm Bourassa has 29 years of experience in building energy engineering and energy efficiency research. He currently is serving as the NERSC Building Infrastructure Group Lead (Acting). He joined NERSC as the Division's Energy & Water Effciency Engineer responsible for the development, deployment of HPC and infrastructure monitoring and analysis tools designed to improve data center power demand and energy efficiency performance. He joined NERSC in 2017, moving from the Building Technology & Urban System Division. Mr. Bourassa has degrees in Architecture (University of California Berkeley) and Electronics Engineering Technology (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Edmonton, Alberta).
