NERSC users generate, access, move, and share petabytes of data both within NERSC and between NERSC and other facilities. NERSC provides a variety of file storage systems and data transfer mechanisms to cover the wide range of needs of our users. In this talk, we will outline which systems are best suited to which usage scenarios and present some best practices that you can follow to manage your data most effectively at NERSC. We will demonstrate some of the available tools and hold a Q&A session to help with specific questions.
