NERSC is hosting a virtual training seminar to help users understand and apply GPU power-capping on Perlmutter. This training aims to encourage users to experiment with power-capping in their workloads as a step toward improving energy efficiency and preparing for a more power-constrained future.
The session will include the following:
- Presentation on GPU power-capping concepts and use cases (60 minutes)
- Demo of a tool that visualizes power consumption during job runs (15 minutes)
- Q&A session (15 minutes)
Agenda: May 23
