NERSCPowering Scientific Discovery Since 1974

Petascale Computing Institute, August 19-23, 2019

NERSC is one of the host sites of the Petascale Computing Institute, August 19-23, 2019.  The goal of the one-week institute is to enable computational and data-enabled discovery in all fields of study by teaching the participants to scale their computational codes to leadership-class computing systems.

The institute will be broadcast to host sites using full-duplex audio/video connections. Participants will receive training accounts, on-site mentoring, and the ability to ask questions of the presenters orally and via online chats.  Recordings of the presentations will be made publicly available after the institute is completed.

This event will be presented online. Attendees can register to attend in person at many sites across the US, Canada, Costa Rica, and Brazil, including attending at Berkeley Lab's Shyh Wang Hall (Building 59) in Room 3104. Please see the Petascale Computing Institute website for more information.

Please register at the Petascale Computing Institute website to attend at NERSC. You must use (or create a new) XSEDE account to register.
