2023 ALCF Hands-on HPC Workshop, October 10-12

Abstract

The ALCF is hosting an in-person Hands-on HPC Workshop on October 10-12, 2023, at the TCS Conference Center at Argonne National Laboratory. The workshop will provide an opportunity for hands-on time on Polaris and AI Testbeds focusing on porting applications to heterogeneous architectures (CPU + GPU), improving code performance, and exploring AI/ML applications development on ALCF systems.

NERSC users are welcome to attend the workshop. An ALCF account will be provided if you do not currently have one.  DEADLINE for Application is September 15, 2023. Your participation is not confirmed until you receive an acceptance email from ALCF staff. There is no cost to participate in this in-person workshop.

Workshop participants will:

• Work directly with ALCF staff and industry experts during dedicated hands-on sessions
• Learn how to use available tools and frameworks to improve productivity and performance
• Hear from researchers running on early Aurora hardware
• Tour Argonne facilities, including Aurora
