Intel/18.0.0.128 was set to default and CDT 17.09 was made available on 10/9/2017.

During the multi-day Edison maintenance (10/06/17 15:00-10/09/17 22:43 PDT), the intel compiler default was changed to intel/18.0.0.128 (release date: 8/17/2017), and a new version of Cray Developer Toolkit (CDT) (17.09) was made available on Edison. This CDT version contains the update on the following software:

cce/8.6.2 
cray-mpich/7.6.2
perftools/6.5.2
papi/5.5.1.3
cray-libsci/17.09.1
cray-python/17.09.1

Additionally, the cray-shmem module is not loaded in the default programming environment on Edison any more. If your code uses Cray Shmem, please load the cray-shmem module before compiling the code.
