NUG 2015 is Feb. 23-26
January 22, 2015 by Richard Gerber
The next face-to-face NERSC User Group (NUG) meeting, NUG 2015, will be
Feb. 23-26, 2015, at the Berkeley Lab main campus and at NERSC's Oakland
Scientific Facility. Registration (free!) and the agenda are available on
the meeting web site.
NUG 2015 will include a day of science and technology presentations at
Berkeley Lab, along with two days of training and the NUG business meeting
at NERSC's Oakland Scientific Facility.
Training will target new NERSC users, data-centric computing, and code
optimization via a Hack-a-Thon.
At the Hack-a-Thon, users will learn about optimization strategies and
tools, then they will have access to experts from NERSC and elsewhere to
help them tune a code kernel of their choosing and/or a sample kernel
provided by us. Space for the hack-a-thon is limited, so register early if
you want to attend.
I hope to see you at NUG 2015, either in person, or remotely over the web
if you can't make it to Berkeley/Oakland.
