Biographical Sketch

Lisa Claus is a member of the User Engagement Group at NERSCHer background is in numerical mathematics and high performance computing. Before joining NERSC, Lisa completed her PhD in numerical mathematics at the University of Wuppertal (Germany) and did a postdoc in the Computational Research Division of Berkeley Lab. She is an active developer of the high-performance scalable software library STRUMPACK, which offers a direct solver and a preconditioner for large sparse linear systems.
