[Users] NERSC Cori Compute Nodes Offline; Remainder of NERSC Still Available

Dear NERSC Users, Cori's compute nodes were taken down shortly before midnight last night. The Cori login nodes, the NERSC website, and the filesystems remain online. At any point, when sustaining the power for all these resources is no longer possible, NERSC may go completely dark. Please continue to monitor https://nersc-status.lbl.gov and http://status.lbl.gov if you cannot connect to NERSC. We will return all of NERSC to service once power is restored. This public safety power shutdown is unprecedented for Berkeley Lab and for northern California. PG&E has informed us that once power is turned off, it will remain off until PG&E crews can inspect power lines and repair any damage, a process that can take days. At this time, it is unclear when NERSC will be able to return to service. We appreciate your patience in this unpredictable time.
