When to Install loadl.so (LoadLeveler)

Install this fileset to submit a POE job which uses LoadLeveler from a node outside of the LoadLeveler cluster. To install, do the following:

1. Contact the system administrator of your LoadLeveler cluster to determine the path name to the exported directory containing the loadl.so image.
2. NFS-mount that directory on the submitting node.
3. Install the loadl.so fileset using the following command:

   installp -aFXd device loadl.so
   

4. Obtain the LoadLeveler configuration file as described in IBM LoadLeveler for AIX 5L: Using and Administering.
