When to Install ssp.clients

Standalone pSeries or RS/6000 workstation users need the ssp.clients fileset if they want to use SP security (DCE), submit jobs on the SP, or both. To install this fileset, do the following:

1. Contact the system administrator of your SP to determine the pathname to the exported directory containing the pssp.installp image.
2. NFS mount that directory on the submitting node.
3. Install the ssp.clients fileset using the following command:

   installp -aFXd /<mounted_image_directory>/pssp.installp ssp.clients
