Installing GPFS in an HACMP environment

It is suggested you read "Planning for GPFS" and "Planning for an HACMP environment" before getting started.

Do not attempt to install GPFS if you do not have the correct hardware ("Hardware specifications") and software ("Programming specifications" and Verifying the level of prerequisite software) prerequisites installed on your system.

Assure that the PATH environment variable on each node includes:

• /usr/lpp/mmfs/bin
