GPFS implements quota limits on a per user or per group basis as opposed to DFS aggregate style quotas. A GPFS user or group quota limit can be specified only for local cell users. If quotas are enabled within GPFS, access by a DCE foreign cell user results in the foreign cell identity being mapped to the local cell nobody; typically with a user and group identity of -2.
