Outages/Downtimes

On May 10 pdsfdtn1 was relocated in an effort to improve network throughput, the network performance of pdsfdtn1 is greatly improved after the work 

On May 21 some network troubleshooting was performed on PDSF. This produced a list of action items that can potentially improve overall PDSF performance.   

PDSF to /project network upgraded in the past week. Now have 20Gbit capability. 

Upcoming Downtimes

To perform one of the action items during the network troubleshooting, Larry is proposing a 1 day down time early june to deal with issues. Tentatively set the date to June 10. 

Grid Issues

ATLAS the open ticket to delete file, will wait until Iwona gets back. 

Other Issues

Larry re-emphasized that users should include IO resource flags in their jobs.
