Debug nodes now reserved from 5am - 6pm Pacific Time

November 30, 2010 by Katie Antypas

To enable better turn-around time for short debugging jobs, 512 compute nodes (12,288 cores) have been reserved from 5am-6pm Pacific Time 7 days a week.  These nodes are dedicated to the debug and interactive queues which have a wall clock limit of 30 minutes.

Please no job chaining in the debug queue!  The definition of job chaining is continuiously submitting jobs at the end of one batch script to launch another.

Please send any questions to the consultants at consult@nersc.gov.

Thanks!
