All files DELETED from Hopper II $SCRATCH on Tuesday

We will need to reformat the Hopper II $SCRATCH file system on Tuesday December 14th. This means all your files in $SCRATCH will be deleted. Please make sure to back them up in HPSS or move them to our global scratch directory, $GSCRATCH.
Please continue to report all problems to the consultants at consult@nersc.gov

The file system reformatting work did not get finished before the holidays. User data was retained in $SCRATCH. The reformatting work will start again in January. We will keep users posted of the schedule. Please make sure to back up data regularly!
