Purging of /global/scratch

/global/scratch is now 83% full. In advance of the first purge (which date is still to be determined), we are asking you to review your /global/scratch usage, and remove any files that are known to be unnecessary.
We expect to begin regular purging of /global/scratch in early June. Here is the "one sentence summary" of our purge policy:
Once per week, NERSC will remove all files in /global/scratch that have not been accessed for 12 weeks.
