Users may now submit requests for the 2014 NERSC Initiative for Scientific Exploration (NISE) program. The deadline to apply is Sunday December 8, 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
The goals for this program in 2014 are:

- Highly collaborative HPC: Projects that join community teams, knowledge bases or gateways with NERSC computing and data capabilities.
- Extreme networking: Large-scale computing projects that leverage NERSC's 100GB border network connectivity.
About 100 million MPP hours will be available to allocate. Awards will be for the 2014 allocation year (January 14, 2014 - January 12, 2015).
