NERSC Initiative for Scientific Exploration (NISE)

NERSC allocates 10% of the total MPP hours on computational systems through the NERSC Initiative for Scientific Exploration (NISE) program. In 2012 the NISE program has 110 million hours to allocate.  This year we are particularly interested in large scale and data intensive proposals. 

In early March 2012 awards were made to 22 projects; there will be no further calls for proposals this year.
