NERSCPowering Scientific Discovery Since 1974

NUG 2013

NUG 2013, the annual meeting of the NERSC Users' Group, will be held February 12-15, 2013 at NERSC's Oakland Scientific Facility in Oakland, CA. NUG 2013 will have one "business" day where NERSC presents status and plans and engages the user community on how to best provide for and enhance scientific discovery through high performance computation and storage (HPC). The second day of NUG 2013 will be focus on trends in HPC and NERSC users' experiences. The final two days are dedicated to training, for both beginners and experienced users, with a focus on NERSC's new Cray XC30 supercomputer, Edison.

NUG 2013 Call for Presentations

We are seeking contributed talks from NERSC users who would like to share their experiences using NERSC resources (computing, storage, and services). We are especially looking for presentations on innovative or non-traditional uses of High Performance Computing as well as talks on overcoming computational or storage challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for students and postdocs to describe their approaches and share tips and strategies with their peers and the interested scientific community. Read More »
