The workshop will be held at the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Executive Meeting Center. Address is 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland, 20852. The hotel is about 27 miles from Dulles Airport.

Sleeping Room Block

A block of sleeping rooms under the group name of "BER NERSC Workshop" has been reserved for the nights of May 6 & 7 at the federal per diem rate of $209 (plus tax) per night. Guests are responsible for all room charges. Check-in time at the hotel is 4:00 pm, and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Making Your Reservation

Please make your reservation via telephone using the hotel reservation number 1-301-468-1100. Please reference the group name "BER NERSC Workshop" to obtain the negotiated rate.

Reservation Cutoff Date

To obtain rooms at the negotiated rate, reservations MUST be made on or before April 16, 2009. After this date, unused rooms will be released from the block, and the hotel will only accept reservations based on availability and at prevailing room rates.

Cancellation Policy

Be sure to verify the hotel's cancellation and early departure policies when making your reservations.

Getting to the Hotel

The hotel is directly opposite the Twinbrook stop on the Washington Metro. Parking at the hotel costs $12.00 per night. The TwinBrook station is three stops from the Shady Grove end of the Red line.

Refreshments

Continuous refreshments will be provided on Thursday and Friday and lunch will be provided on Thursday.

Lunch for local DOE employees is $18/person, with a check payable to ORAU.
