Dear Franklin Users,

Franklin is back in service and jobs which complete by 11:59pm tonight, 
Pacific Time, will be free.

Over the past few days we have been experiencing IO errors on Franklin 
which a number of you have reported.  We are working hard to diagnose 
and resolve the problems with Cray.  We have turned on additional system 
error reporting and we encourage you to run and submit jobs and report 
any problems to consult@nersc.gov.
