Dear Franklin users, NERSC has refunded one half of your Franklin charges to date, with a cap of 500,000 hours refunded, to compensate for the instability Franklin has been experiencing for the past month. We recognize that this level of instability is not acceptable, and are working very hard with Cray to stabilize the system. Several changes have already been implemented, and more are going in during today's maintenance. We hope that this refund will encourage you to continue using Franklin!
