    Dear Bassi users,

The IBM C and Fortran compilers will be updated on Wednesday, Jan. 23 
between 08:00 and 10:00 PST.
We recommend that you refrain from using the compilers during that time.

Changes to the default compiler versions:

XL C 7.0.0.2 will updated to XL C 8.0.0.16
XL FORTRAN 9.1.0.8 will be updated to XL FORTRAN 10.1.0.5
