Dear NERSC User, Currently Franklin has one login node that is in a downed state, and this is unlikely to repaired until tomorrow. It's possible that your computer has associated the name franklin.nersc.gov with this downed node and this will result in attempts to login to Franklin hanging. If you encounter difficulties connecting to Franklin, you can try flushing the DNS cache (methods vary according to OS) or simply try connecting from another machine.
