    Dear Bassi users,

Bassi will be rebooted on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 13:00 PST. The total down 
time is  expected to
be less than two hours. The reboot will clear locked memory segments on 
the compute nodes..

Jobs that would finish after 13:00 on Dec. 13 (based on the value for 
wall_clock_limit in the submitted script)
will not be eligible to start until Bassi is returned to service. Jobs 
that can "backfill," i.e. finish before
the scheduled reboot, will be eligible to run before the outage.
