    Dear Franklin users,

Default wallclock time for production queues (regular, premium, low, and
special) on Franklin will be set to 5 mins on next Wednesday, Dec. 5.
(Note: Default wallclock time for interactive and debug queues will
    remain as 30 min.)

Please take the opportunity to review your batch scripts, and insert the
    Torque keyword setting
"#PBS -l walltime=hh:mm:ss" in your batch script to avoid the premature
    exit of your jobs.

It is a good idea to set job wallclock time as accurate as possible
(instead of setting it too long or use the max allowed time for the
batch queue class) to take advantage of scheduling backfill
opportunities for faster turnaround of your jobs, better throughput for
all user jobs, and higher efficiency for the entire batch system.

    Best Regards,
