Dear NERSC Users, Please consider attending this month's face-to-face NERSC Users' Group meeting held at the NERSC OSF site in Oakland, CA. This year is particularly important since the 1-day business meeting will be followed by 3 days of training on the new NERSC computer "Franklin". This Cray XT4 system will require you to port, optimize and scale your application on a new platform and this training will considerably ease the transition. Please register at https://www.nersc.gov/about/NUG/meeting_info/Sep07/ and indicate if you will be participating in person at OSF or remotely. There will be a hands-on session with the Cray and NERSC staff for those of you who come on site so bring your code with you...
