RE: NERSC Users' Group meeting registration is open

Dear NERSC Users,

Please consider attending this month's face-to-face NERSC Users' Group
meeting
held at the NERSC OSF site in Oakland, CA. This year is particularly
important
since the 1-day business meeting will be followed by 3 days of training on
the
new NERSC computer "Franklin". This Cray XT4 system will require you to port,
optimize and scale your application on a new platform and this training will
considerably ease the transition.

Please register at https://www.nersc.gov/about/NUG/meeting_info/Sep07/ and
indicate if you will be participating in person at OSF or remotely. There
will
be a hands-on session with the Cray and NERSC staff for those of you who come
on site so bring your code with you...

Hoping to see you in Oakland!

cheers,

Stephane Ethier
NUGEX vice-chair
