NGF (/project) down for emergency maintenance

NGF, the /project file systems, is being brought down for emergency 
maintentance.  At present there is no scheduled up time.  We will keep 
you informed via email of any significant change in status, as well as 
logging it in the NERSC MOTD at http://www.nersc.gov/nusers/status/motd.php.

This affects all NERSC compute systems in the following ways:

1.  No new batch jobs are being scheduled to run on any system.

2.  All existing running batch jobs using /project will be killed.

3.  Any interactive job whose working directory is in a /project file 
system will be killed.
