    Dear NERSC user,

We are pleased to announce the availability of grid services on
Jacquard, Bassi, and DaVinci for use by the Open Science Grid and
    NERSC user communities.

These services allow users to manage data movement and submit
or monitor batch jobs through interfaces which can be run from
NERSC machines as well as non-NERSC machines, e.g., users' local
    workstations.

The following services are currently supported:
       - Globus job submission [Pre-Web-Services GT 4.0.3]
       - GridFTP [GT 4.0.3]
       - OSG monitoring, resource selection, and accounting [OSG 0.6.0]*

    * NOTE: OSG monitoring, resource selection, and accounting are not
       currently available on Bassi.

These new resources are primarily targeted towards users that wish
to run parallel jobs through the grid. They join the existing
production grid services already available on PDSF and the HPSS
    Archive storage system.

Users can use their grid certificates to manage their jobs and data
at NERSC using the above interfaces.

For detailed information on using grid services at NERSC, including
examples of running parallel jobs via grid services, please visit:
