Dear Bassi Users,

We are experiencing file system problems out of /scratch and the system 
needs to be taken down in order to do a file system check.  Running jobs 
will be canceled and logins will be unavailable.  We do not know 
precisely when the system will return to production, however we expect 
Bassi to be down for most or all of the remainder of the day.
