Final Reminder: NERSC downtime today

Dear NERSC User,

Today is the end of NERSC Allocation Year 2006 (AY06).  All jobs will
be terminated at 15:00 PST.  System maintenance will then be performed,
and normal operations will resume at 00:01 tomorrow morning, marking the
start of AY07.  Complete information may be found at:

As I write this, we are 6 hours from the downtime, and the machines are
draining.  This would be an excellent chance to get quick turnaround on
jobs that request less than 6 hours, even highly parallel jobs.  Just be
sure that the requested time guarantees that the job will finish before
15:00, and it will have a good chance of starting immediately.
