Greetings DaVinci User,

Two news items today:

1) Due to some reported problems with the Intel Fortran compiler
version 9.0, yesterday's scheduled transition to 9.0 did NOT happen.
Version 8.1 is still the default, and will remain so for the forseeable
future.  We will announce when version 9.1 is available (or version
9.0 is fixed).

2) DaVinci's next scheduled maintenance is next Thursday, August 17,
from 14:00 - 18:00 PDT.  This primarily will be a GPFS upgrade.
