Dear NERSC Users,

Bassi will be unavailable beginning at 08:00 PDT on Thursday, July 13. 
Dedicated time will be
taken to debug and correct a problem with the HPS network. Bassi is 
currently experiencing
degraded point-to-point network bandwidth across the entire system. The 
outage is scheduled for
12 hours, but the system may be returned to service sooner if the 
problem is fixed.
