    Dear NERSC users,

Reminder: Bassi Scheduled Maintenance Wednesday 6/07/2006 15:00-23:59PT

_Bassi Status_

Bassi is up and running jobs, however we are experiencing (seemingly) random
job launch failures. The jobs appear to start, but are immediately 
canceled by a
so far mysterious system failure. Subsequent attempts to run the job usually
succeed. NERSC and IBM are working to diagnose and remedy the problem.
