Jacquard Pathscale compilers to be updated on 4/17/06

The default version of the Pathscale compilers on Jacquard will be 
upgraded from version 2.3 to 2.4 on Monday, 4/17/06.

This is a bugfix release which includes fixes to NERSC reported 
problems, and some performance improvements.

This new version is currently on Jacquard in the path/2.4 module and can 
be used now by loading the path/2.4 module:

module swap path path/2.4

If you experience any problems with this compiler or if the performance 
of any application deteriorates when recompiled with this version, 
please report this with details to consult@nersc.gov.
