    To prepare for the memory replacement, there will be a two hour outage 
this Friday, October 14, from 8:00 to 10:00 Pacific time.  Jacquard's 
memory will then be replaced over the following two weeks, during which 
time about one half of the computational and storage nodes will be 
available for users.
