netCDF 3.6.0 installed

Dear NERSC users,

NETCDF 3.6.0 has been installed on the IBM SP. This
release of the NETCDF library includes bug fixes
and performance enhancements to version 3.5.1.

Both 32-bit and 64-bit address space libraries are available.
To access this new version, 32-bit use: "module load netcdf/3.6.0"
and 64-bit use: "module load netcdf_64/3.6.0"

This version will become the default  on April 26, 2005.
The current version, 3.5.1 will be disabled on May 10, 2005
and deleted soon thereafter.
