NERSC User Services provides training lectures in the use of our HPC and Storage systems, servers, software, practices, and tools. These lectures are presented in several ways, intended to ease the burden of attendance for remote users. In the past, we have presented lectures here and at other sites during NERSC User Group (NUG) meetings, in multi-day events, and one- to two- hour lectures. We have presented remote lectures via conference tele- phone calls and ESNet videoconferencing, over the Access Grid, and by media streaming. Our materials have been made available in real time and after the fact on NERSC servers, as web pages, PowerPoint source, and streaming media files. Materials from past lectures are accessible at "http://hpcf.nersc.gov/training/classes/past_classes.php". We wish to solicit your wishes and needs for content and the timing of our presentations. We welcome your suggestions for lecture topics, your preferences of media and methodology, and your preferred time frames for these classes. Please send your comments to "training@nersc.gov" and stay tuned to our main web page at "http://hpcf.nersc.gov" for announcements. Thomas M. DeBoni NERSC User Services Group
