Greetings!
This is to notify you that NERSC User Services will present a pair of
lectures in our user training series on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 9:00 to
11:15 AM, Pacific Time.
These lectures are aimed at new users of NERSC systems who wish to
port codes to the SP and learn about tools and techniques for improving
code performance on that system. The lectures will be presented on the
Access Grid, with an accompanying audio conference.
In addition, we are currently planning two other mornings of lectures.
The first will be on March 20, and the other will be in April, on a date
yet to be determined. Further information on those events will be posted
on the web as it develops.
The tentative schedule of presentations for Feb. 20 is as follows:
9:00 - 10:00 PDT NERSC Overview for New Users
David Turner, User Services Group
10:15 - 11:15 PDT IBM Compiler Optimization Options
