Greetings NERSC Project Managers and PIs,

25 million additional MPP hours have been made available in anticipation
of the new Seaborg nodes (see
http://hpcf.nersc.gov/computers/SP/expansion.html).

The time has been distributed as follows. (EXCITE is a new project
within DOE called EXtreme Computational Impact on Theory and
Experiment. EXCITE is designed to support 4-6 projects that are
expected to have a significant impact in the scientific disciplines in
which they are undertaken. DOE will announce this new project shortly.)

SciDAC 5,000,000 5,575,000
EXCITE 7,500,000 7,500,000

ASCR 594,000 1,084,000

If your project needs more time please contact your NERSC DOE Manager
(list at http://hpcf.nersc.gov/accounts/allocations/off-prog-mon.html)
explaining briefly how much more time you expect to need this fiscal
