Greetings!
This is to notify you that NERSC User Services will present a pair of
lectures on advanced usage topics on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 9:00 to
11:30 AM, Pacific Time.
These lectures are aimed at users of NERSC systems, seaborg and PDSF,
who wish to improve the performance of their codes, and find out about
new capabilities, both planned and currently available at NERSC. They
will be presented on the Access Grid, with an accompanying audio
conference.
In addition, we are now planning two other mornings of lectures. The
first will be in February on a date to be determined, and the other
will be held sometime in March. Information on those dates will be
posted on the web as it develops.
The tentative schedule of presentations for tomorrow is as follows:
9:00 - 10:30 PDT Performance Monitoring and Tuning Tools on the SP
Jonathan Carter, User Services Group
10:45 - 11:45 PDT Introduction to Grid Services at NERSC
