Index SP Queue Changes

From: David Skinner (dskinner_at_nersc.gov)

Dear SP Users,

The NERSC Users' Group (NUG) along with NERSC systems staff have made
the following changes to the regular_long queue in order to increase
its availability to users. Effective today the regular_long queue
policy will be changed as follows:

* Any individual user will be allowed to have only one job queued in
this class. Users may have one job queued and one running, but will not
be allowed to queue more than one regular_long job. The llsubmit
command will reject additional jobs until the user's queued job is
running or has completed.

* A job queued to regular_long while the user has a job running in this
class gets a start date of the time the first job is scheduled to
finish. I.e., the queued job will not start until the running job has
finished.

Regards,

David Skinner
