Greetings, Some updates on the phase I to phase II transition at NERSC: * Account charging for compute time on seaborg will begin on August 1. Seaborg will be in full production mode from that date forward. The phase I machine, gseaborg, is slated for retirement on August 9. * Additional nodes will be added to seaborg in the near future. Expansions of the compute pool will be announced as they happen. You can always use 'llclass' to determine the compute resources currently available. * User account migration is nearing completion. You should find your files from gseaborg in ~/migrated_gseaborg_files on the new machine. Please contact account sport for your new seaborg password: 1-800-66-NERSC (USA), (510) 486-8600, menu option 2, M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Pacific Time * Web documentation at http://hpcf.nersc.gov/computers/SP has been updated to reflect the information relevant to seaborg. * A serial queue is now available on seaborg.
