On Thursday, June 28, about 2pm Pacific time, NERSC plans to upgrade the
web interface to NIM (NERSC Information Management). If you experience an
interruption in NIM service, please wait a few minutes and try again (you
should not have to log on again).

This new release of NIM incorporates various bug fixes and enhancements, 
including supplementary text fields for two ERCAP Request questions plus Reports 
for Daily and Year to Date Usage. Individual users should be able to create 
Reports for each of their individual logins and repositories, as well as ERCAP 
Requests for repositories with which they are associated (as suggested by the 
NERSC Users Group). PI's and PI Proxies can write and edit ERCAP Requests for FY 
2002 NERSC Resources until the deadline July 23.
