Dear NERSC Users: SC2001 is a primary vehicle for disseminating the results of NERSC's efforts to DOE managers and the HPC community. NERSC employees and users typically make a strong showing in the technical program and tutorials. This year's conference will be held Nov. 10-16 in Denver, but the time to submit for the technical program is now. We will also hold the next meeting of the NERSC Users Group during SC2001 at Denver. This coming Friday, April 27, is the submission deadline for PANELS and WORKSHOPS. Friday next week, May 4, is the REVISED submission deadline for TUTORIALS, TECHNICAL PAPERS EXTENDED ABSTRACTS, and GORDON BELL AWARDS NOMINATIONS. More information can be found at the SC2001 Web site at <http://www.sc2001.org/>. I encourage you consider participating in SC2001, through papers, panels, workshops etc. or simply plan to attend to learn about the latest in HPC. Horst -- Horst D.
