Stefan Lasiewski

Biographical Sketch

Stefan Lasiewski has worked as a Unix system administrator for over 10 years. His career began in 1997 as a Technical Support Engineer at the Institution of Global Communications, which provided the first online presence for many non-profit and international non-governmental organization. Afterwords he worked as a system administrator with several Bay Area startups. Most recently Stefan worked at Convio (Formally GetActive) where he maintained high-availability SaaS, CRM, email and CMS applications for large clients such as the AFLCIO, the Smithsonian Institution, the Humane Society of the United States and the National Association or Realtors. His primary focus over the years has been Unix & Linux administration, Web applications, configuration management and system monitoring.
