Note: If you are coming to training from out-of-town reserve your hotel room soon. 15 rooms have been reserved at the Novotel, which has free shuttle service to PPPL. When you register, let the reservation staff know that you are registering for the ERSUG PPPL meeting and that you want to take the complimentary shuttle to PPPL at 8:30 AM on June 3 and 4. Thursday, June 5 and Friday, June 6, 1997: ERSUG Business Meeting
The meeting will be scheduled to end at about 12:30 on Friday. A session of the Executive committee (ExERSUG) will be scheduled for the early afternoon of June 6. For those staying at the Novotel, when you register let the reservation staff know that you are registering for the ERSUG PPPL meeting and that you want to take the complimentary shuttle to PPPL at 8:30 AM on June 5 and 6. Directions from Newark Airport to PPPL -- Follow the New Jersey Turnpike SOUTH to EXIT 9 - New Brunswick. After the toll booth (use a booth on the far RIGHT), turn RIGHT onto the ramp to Highway 18 NORTH. Soon after, turn into the lefthand fork of the road, STAYING IN THE RIGHT LANE (you will see a BENNIGAN's restaurant AHEAD AND TO YOUR RIGHT as you BEAR LEFT). You will immediately BEAR RIGHT for an obscured exit to US 1 SOUTH, Trenton. These three turns occur in rapid succession. Follow US 1 about 15 miles to the Princeton area. Most of the Hotels are on or near Rt. 1.
The PRINCETON AIRPORTER limousine has an information counter at the baggage claim area in each terminal at Newark Airport. Reservations can be made at the desk when you arrive at the airport for your trip to Princeton. However, reservations must be made in advance for your return trip to the airport. The one-way cost is approximately $20 per person. The trip takes approximately 90 minutes. The shuttle service runs every hour, at fifteen minutes past the hour, from 7:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. Sunday-Friday. A reduced schedule is in effect on Saturday. To get to PPPL from a hotel: Take Rt. 1 and get off at the small exit marked Forrestal Campus/Sayre Drive, between the College Road and Scudders Mill Road exits. Go in Forrestal Campus direction past guard booth and then left to PPPL. Stop at 2nd guard booth for check-in to PPPL.
